Today's Literacy and Math Agenda
Literacy Block
- Earlier this week we began reading Lunchbox Dream by Tony Abbott. Today during literacy block, read chapter four independently. After reading chapter four, select three (3) quotes that stood out to you explain why. You should write your responses in your literacy journals and share with a partner the last 15 minutes of literacy block. Tomorrow, we will began literacy block by sharing a few quotes that you all chose and explain why those parts were significant.
- After we share there will be a short quiz on chapters three and four. So make sure you read chapters three and four in their entirety.
Math Block
- Today during math block, there will be a short three minute multiplication facts (1-6) quiz. This quiz measures speed and accuracy, however accuracy outweighs speed. With that being said, think before you answer the problems and do your best. After the quiz, we will continue our lesson on division and play a fun review game.
